Obra do Berço contributes to the social development of Rio de Janeiro by partnering with third-sector organizations and supporting the families of the children we serve.
Desde a sua fundação, a Obra do Berço sempre teve como política apoiar outras instituições filantrópicas e participar de movimentos e eventos do Terceiro Setor. Atualmente, destinamos parte dos donativos recebidos para o bazar a Organizações da Sociedade Civil (OSCs) como a ONG Alfa e o Retiro dos Artistas, além de empresas como a Comlurb. Damos suporte ainda ao projeto Doe Livros e estamos em troca constante sobre boas práticas com organizações parceiras como a CELPI, o Instituto da Criança e o Phi.
Our commitment goes beyond providing comprehensive daily care for the children we serve. We support their families by donating food baskets, diapers, and other essential items to those most in need. To further strengthen community ties and promote social inclusion among family members, we also create opportunities for social interaction through events such as our traditional June festival.
