GOVERNANCE

The idea of governance in the Third Sector is to exactly divide all the functions performed so that each manager of the organization can understand their responsibility before the Board of Directors and even with their stakeholders – which can be the donors, the Government or society. Governance can still involve some tasks that are fundamental in the third sector, such as transparency, accountability and others.

Third sector

Understand governance in the Third Sector as a set of actions that must be carried out in order to enable and reflect on the social functions to be performed by each institution. This governance will work with the objective of prioritizing functions that are in fact crucial in this sector, such as the provision of essential services in the area in which it operates, in addition to offering an environment of social entrepreneurship that expresses beliefs and values.

"My soul is filled with joy as I embrace children at social risk in their first thousand days sowing a dignified future full of hope."

Maria Luiza de Sá Earp Marinho - President
